Assistant Director - Adult Development Center (ADC)

We are currently hiring an Assistant Director to join our team. As a senior leader, you will embody our excellence, integrity, and accountability while modeling a one-team approach to person-centered services. You will facilitate a positive work environment, develop success strategies, and create opportunities to promote a safe and meaningful life for all individuals receiving services and the staff providing services. You will oversee the region's Activity Center, Adult Development Center, and Senior Programs.
Assistant Director reports to the Director.
Assistant Director assist in supervision of Office manager, Case manager and Client facilitator.
Minimum qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must Pass Health Screening and TB test.
- Must be first Aid and CPR certified.
- Must pass Criminal Record Clearance (DOJ and FBI Background check)
- A bachelor’s degree with coursework applicable to the social services field.
- A hands-on leader with a passion for providing meaningful days for staff and individuals receiving services.
- Take pride in demonstrating Person-centered approaches and accountability in an inclusive team.
- A strong advocate with active observation skills for the rights and best interests of adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- An administrator who enjoys using data to tell the story of services provided and effectively manages programs and people.
- Supervises, coaches, and mentors staff guiding their work and learning, including, when necessary, corrective/disciplinary action in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining licensing standards as a quality choice provider
- Overseeing the development and implementation of Individual Support Plans designed to enhance personal growth and independence for program participants.
- Maintaining, reviewing, and analyzing data, tracking to ensure all case management and documentation meets quality standards.
- Assessing the effectiveness of authorized hours through service delivery and staff performance; compiles outcome measurement reports
- Develops and implements budget.
- Liaison with regulatory agencies and Center Chapter Board
- Conduct new participant intake process; maintain program capacity attendance:
- Two years of hands-on experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Have supervisory experience.
- Have experience with an electronic case management system.
- Have experience with individual service plans (Person-centered goal development)
- Strong applied experience with Titles 17 & 22
- Are comfortable with multiple software systems AND manual processes.
- Valid CA Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Immediate access to the vehicle with working seatbelts to transport participants
- Are knowledgeable of SDRC referral and funding procedures.
- Our multi-lingual (English, Spanish, Arabic)
- Are certified as a CPR / First Aid Instructor
- Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:00 pm, or beside on client and company needs.
