We are currently hiring an office manager to join our team. You will be the initial welcome at our Day Program Center for all clients, staff, and visitors. As the administrative support for the center, you will work closely with the leadership to ensure effective entry and review of data in different systems.

Office Manager reports to the Director.

Office Manager supervises no other staff in the facility.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must Pass Health Screening and TB test.
  • Must be first Aid and CPR certified.
  • Must pass Criminal Record Clearance (DOJ and FBI Background check)
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Task-oriented individual comfortable working on your own
  • Capable of asking for direction rather than taking the lead
  • Receptionist duties, including promptly and professionally answering multiline telephones and interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.
  • Sorting documents alphabetically and according to content, dates, significance, confidentiality
  • Managing the petty cash fund; cashier for the on-site cafe
  • Data entry of client hours in multiple forms; reconciles for payroll and monthly billing.
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Experience handling administrative duties in an office environment.
  • Are comfortable with multiple software systems AND manual processes.
  • Positive customer service while maintaining an advocacy focus for our clients.
  • Positive, welcoming demeanor
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Valid CA Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Immediate access to the vehicle with working seatbelts to transport participants
  • Have experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Are knowledgeable of San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) referral and funding procedures.
  • Our multi-lingual (English, Spanish, Arabic)
  • Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:00 pm, or beside on client and company needs.
