Job Coach Supervisor

Full Job Description

Primary Duties:  Supervises, coordinates, reviews, and maintains consumer case management and record-keeping systems of assigned Program and caseload. Communicates with employers with sufficient frequency to ensure longevity and security of consumer employment opportunities. Manages and supervises assigned staff (Job Coaches) in all areas, including interviewing, hiring, training, information sharing, counseling, disciplinary actions, and termination. Ensures the delivery of consumer paychecks each payday, if applicable. Works in close coordination and cooperation with the Program Managers, Director. Communicates effectively and maintains a cooperative working relationship with representatives from regulatory agencies, funding and referral sources, care providers, family members, and all other entities as required. Conducts meetings with assigned staff according to a schedule agreed upon with the supervisor. Coordinates and schedules job coaching services to consumers to demonstrate daily the organization's Vision, Mission, and Core Values. All other duties as assigned.

Associates degree in social science or commensurate experience includes three years of experience providing services to people with disabilities and at least one year' in staff supervision and program coordination. Must possess a current CPR/First Aid certification throughout employment. Must have a valid California Driver's license, have 24 months of driving experience.  Experience in consumer evaluation, record-keeping, or case management, plus a demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and individuals with disabilities such as mental illness, substance abuse, physical and medical disabilities preferred. Knowledge of Rehabilitation and San Diego Regional Center referral and funding procedures.
